OPTO-MECHANICAL DESIGN
Our in house mechanical engineering staff is intimately familiar with the requirements and specifics of designing and working with optical systems, and as such, we have designed hardware to support, align and test a variety of optical components. Our mechanical designs have included high precision machined components that require sub 10 micron tolerances for demanding imaging applications, to low cost, stereo-lithographic components for high volume commercial illumination systems.
We have a broad range of experience with mechanical tolerancing, and we've performed highly detailed thermal analyses on some of our systems.
