Projection Systems
Seattle Photonics has been designing projection systems for nearly every year of our existence. Our designs have been used in aircraft entertainment prototypes, 3D theaters, spherical touchscreen applications and ultra small pico-projectors. We pride ourselves on the quality of our system design and we understand the trade-offs for high volume manufacturing as well. We’ve used many different image source technologies. We’ve worked with the TI DMD chipsets as one of their approved ‘optical design groups’. We’ve designed many LCoS based projection systems and understand the polarization optics required to make those work. And we’ve worked with scanned laser sources as the image source and the challenges they can introduce into optical distortion.
