Solar Energy Systems

Seattle Photonics has supported several Solar Energy companies with the design of their heliostat tracking systems and assisted with novel collection optics. These optics have harsh environmental requirements and often the lifetime of these optics can be 10 years or more. Our thermal analysis capabilities insured that these optical systems worked properly over these temperatures, and our close working relationship with our vendors allowed us to prototype these systems successfully.
